    Are Carbs Really the Enemy?
    Do not be afraid of carbs or calories.  So many people, especially females, fear eating too many carbs and too many calories.  I know, because I used to be one of them.  Let me reassure you that these two C-words are NOT the enemy... as long as they're the right KIND of carbs and calories.  Too many times we hear people say, "a calorie is a calorie is a calorie," and I'm sorry but I have to politely disagree.  500 calories of broccoli are digested and used totally differently in the body

    Stress.  A word we’re all very familiar with – maybe even too familiar.  When you’re someone like me who’s super Type-A perfectionist about everything, stress is just something you’ve accepted about your life.  In fact, sometimes we even create it ourselves, adding additional anxiety on top of the mix.  I want to tell you a story about some stress that I’ve been dealing with.
